Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 08:55PM I was just having a meeting for "Detectives" and had a pretty funny flashback to one of my first ever "industry functions" (aka parties.) I'd just finished my first studio job and was invited by some of the same casting agents to this "industry function where we will be celebrating a prominent independent filmmaker", this was another fancy term for "schmooze" I'm talking "schmooze to the point where you are expected to kiss up and make this filmmaker out to be the next Orson Welles". So I get there on time (big mistake, there was only one other person there….everyone is always 2 hours late for these things)

I've talked to folks all over who were all kicking off the new year in the right way, so hopefully that year is still going in a great groove…. My year hit the ground running almost immediately…."Watching the Detectives" is finished and already tested with a focus group (we had a great score and had some fun and had some great feedback) and from there, we took it from the editing room and directly to some networks, producers and studios….
Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 12:41AM How's everyone? Things good? As I write this, my Phillies have dropped the world series in 6 games to the Bronx Bombers. My family, made up almost entirely of homegrown New Yorkers (I'm the first one to grow up outside of NY and in the Philly area) and I have a a few bets going, so the Phils needed to win this or else I have to provide quite a bit of family members with Philly soft pretzels and cheesesteaks…and I'll make the homemade (with Cheeze Whiz, that's how they roll in the city of Brotherly Love), so that's what I've been cooking for the last week or so...
Monday, October 19, 2009 at 08:25PM It's been a few days since we lost the great Captain Lou Albano. What makes the stories great about him, is that everyone seems to have found some part of Captain Lou's great career to enjoy....whether it'd been pro wrestling, Miami Vice, Cyndi Lauper videos etc etc, everyone seemed to remember the Captain fondly, myself included.
