"And you may ask yourself, 'well, how did I get here?'"-The Talking Heads

Sorry I've been out of the loop in the "where in the country is Tim doing his press/babble/incoherent rambling this week" updates that I was so good at providing over the last couple weeks.
We'll we've been tearing through the nation on the press tour for LEAF and I've really been grateful at the great reviews and the great support from everyone...this has eclipsed every single expectation thus far, and it all started right here at the beginning with you all and the weekly "this is how filning went today"updates.
We did some press on ESPN radio in North Carolina with Mark Panichelli, who's a great guy who loves both the film "The Replacements" ....
"I'm wirey"
...and The Philadelphia Eagles' Donovan McNabb.
For me, it would have been impossible to not get along with him if for any reason because he likes those 2 things. Thanks to ESPN, Mark and the good listeners and good people of North Carolina...it looks like there may be a screening down there sometime soon, so I look forward to seeing you all...I always seem to end saying things like this with "...And I can't wait to eat the food there" I realize I say that about every place I visit.
From there we jumped onto the phone with the great city of Chicago. I love Chi-Town and I never feel like I spend enough time there. I need to spend a non work break there, and just take in the city and hang out with the good folks there....we did an interview with Tony Farinella and 411 mania. Tony is a great writer and asked some great questions about the film and the craft of this insane business....the whole interview is right here,if you have a minute, just click on these words and it'll whip you right on over to Tony's Interview.
Which puts us here today...actually wait before that, we did "SPORTS RAGE" om satellite radio the week before...and that was unreal. We ended up talking about movies, music, basektball, why I should be less mainstream and the genius of Harvey Keitel. Being on that show was a lot of fun.
So now we're still cooking but may head into a little downtime for the holiday break...but we have lots going on heading into 09 (unless that pesky Screen Actors Guild Strike happens). A lot I look forward to sharing. We have a new project I can hopefully unfold in spring...plus a little homework I plan on doing, I'm playing around with a couple of projects and hopefully a little holiday downtime will give me the opportunity to get those up to date and hopefully...off the ground.
So with that, let's catch up again next week, and if you're in NYC tonight please head to the Bronx and take a look at Vince Corkadel's film "Dust&Death", I've seen this and it's really excellent....
Oh and thanks to all of who've been telling me to watch "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" I just started watching it and it's incredible...."There is no Pepe Silvia!"
And one more think to babble about, Ryan Adams and the Cardinals "Cardinology" I've been playing this one non stop. If you're doing a little holiday driving....take this one along with you. I think you'll like it.
take care and be good,
TC
