THANK YOU PHILLY!

HI Everyone,

Did our first "official" promo for the show today and we did it at the Philadelphia Convention at the VGXPO...there were comic artists, video gamers, people in costume etc etc...it was a pretty diverse crowd....and all good souls.

Also we now have our first clip of the show I've shared with a few folks so far, and the reaction has been GREAT so hopefully that reaction keeps going...I'll post a link and some more updates/photos hopefully soon.

A few highlights of today:

-doing a tv interview and the guy stopped and said "you know you look like Tony Hawk?" I'd actually never heard that one before, but it was fun to hear such a cool "celeb look a like"

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

-meeting the great Gil "Buck Rogers" Gerrard. Told him about the show....he asked if he could come on and be a shoplifter (how mindblowing is that? Buck Rogers asking to be on DETECTIVES? Insane)

-doing our discussion panel (with Gervase, Adam Way and Tim Fennell) and giving the crowd snacks...and then all 4 of us breaking in to song when someone's ring tone was Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls" I'm pretty sure in the history of television....no tv panel discussion has suddenly broken into song of "Fat Bottom Girls". Also we made sure the room cheered for as little guy named Colin who was about 4 years old, he said "THANK YOU" and we made sure he got his applause, afterall, manners are important! And we here at the show applaud that. A LOT.

-Adam Way, during an interview talking about his next project,  He makes it sound funnier than I do. Adam discussing his next project in GREAT detail! Try skipping around to the 1.56 minute mark

-And the coolest potenttial thing, I talked to some guys who make action figures and they'd mentioned that they'd do a limited edition "detectives" line of figures...if that happens...WOW could you imagine how cool that'd be? You'd be able to own you're own "Lew" action figure...or maybe a "Ray" "Otis" or "Greg"? This will all make  MUCH more sense once you've all seen the show and the characters!

Anyway this is just the beginning...so hopefully we get everyone out at some point for some singalongs, toy talk and well....more singalongs.

you all rock the house.

Take care and be good,
TIM
