Everyone having a nice weekend? My week wasn't bad at all, I took in a day game the other day, and watched my beloved Phillies take a tough loss against those world champs out of Boston, the Red Sox.

Also, just heard a story from a friend about a musician that I liked a lot, the great Ryan Adams

Anyway, I've never been to see Ryan Adams live, he's on my list of "great folks I still need to see live", but my buddy said a jokester was in the crowd at one of Ryan's shows and requested "RUN TO YOU" which is a joke, because that is a song by BRYAN ADAMS and not RYAN ADAMS.

Word is, Ryan had that guy kicked out of the show. What a bummer right? I always though Ryan would be able to take a joke...heck on average I get an e-mail every two weeks for THIS guy.

Nope that's Tim KARR, that's not me. If only I had hair that cool. If only. Anyway, what I do is e-mail them back with something like this

"Hi, My name is Tim Carr and I think you're looking for Tim KARR. I do have a guitar but I don't play it well, so I don't tour because no one would probably never ever, ever want to hear me play my guitar. So if you're reading this, Ryan Adams, and I like to think that you are...the morale of the story? Don't take yourself too seriously. Fans, musicians, artists....we're all in it together, so have a little fun and learn the words to "RUN TO YOU".

Ok, moving on. We have something a little fun coming up on SATURDAY JUNE 28th, at the Virginville '08 Film Festival, there's a special screening of a little film we cranked out called "A Deeper Shade of Soul"...

... with all the love recently on the last few projects I've done, a little light has begun to shine on this little film.

I had a blast making it, a great ensmble cast of actors and musicians who just combined their strengths to make this in like 6 days in 4 states. It is screening in this organic field in HAMBURG, PA. Check this out...this is what it looks like:

Not like your normal festival right? A chance to come out, get some fresh air, and watch some films under the stars....DEEPER SHADE is closing out the festival...so we'll be on in the dark...so please come on out...bring a cooler packed with your favorite sandwiches and beverages, throw a blanket on the ground, and just enjoy. It's 10$ to get in....and in case you want to mapquest it (like I'll be doing)
