Tim
The great camera man extraordinaire of LEAF Tim Fennell called me. He went to the New York Giants superbowl parade in Manhattan...and was now lost in New Jersey. What was funny to me, is every single time I go to Jersey, I get lost. Seriously. Anytime you say "Tim how's it going?" and I say "Well, I'm in Jersey" just assume I'm lost. REALLY lost. Lost in the way where you get to a new area and think "wow, I'm never getting out of here alive". That's actually my theory on the TV show LOST. Are they all dead? No. Is it pergatory? Nope not that either. Are they in Mount Laurel New Jersey? Why YES they are. The OTHERS are very likely the mean toll booth collectors on the Jersey turnpike. Anyway, somehow I managed to give some directions, and by the blind leading the blind... Tim got home safe and sound.
Lost - The Complete First Season
Look at that background, it's DEFINITELY South Jersey.

Speaking of LEAF, we came off 2 great weeks of shows, and moving to all kinds of other cities....including a few big shows I'm really looking forward to. (I'll tell all the details...when I get them)

I had a meeting yesterday with some commercial folks, and when I walked out I looked out on the city streets and thought "This is where I met SPIDER"

A few years back, my first time at this studio, I ran into Spider. Spider looked cool, he had dreads, black gloves and a guitar, he also was wheeling a bike. I have no idea what he was doing there, but he told me he's had a long and crazy life. He told me he played in Sid Vicious solo bands (just in case you guys may not know Sid Vicious, long story short...he was a weirdo who played in the sex pistols, he played bass and badly, he also always had a bloody nose and scratch marks, after the one sex pistols album, they broke up went solo, Sid killed his girlfriend at the Chelsea in New York and od'd and died soon after. His girlfriend Nancy was from Philadelphia. Pointless trivia for you.)

Spider then told me he could get into any VIP club on the East coast too, and then said "Man maybe this is the reason I came here today, to meet a cool cat like you" Then on that note, Spider walked away, guitar in one hand and a bicycle on the other. I never did get into any of those VIP clubs he promised.

I wonder whatever happened to that guy?

Take care and be good,
A Cool Cat Named TIM
