After posting the blog about this story the other day, I remembered something funny that happened after the "pepto" appearance...on the way back to my car where I was going to speed home and try to forget about the embarassing appearance, when someone involved in the marketing campaign told me about a film they were in called "LIT".
Now I remember I was in talks for LIT one time I spoke to someone on the phone, and they were so vague about the film, and I was trying to get a speaking role, because it was early on, and I was trying to get as many credits as I could.
So I'm speaking with the "director" and I'm asking big questions, and the director, with a very light voice just wouldn't answer any of them. He told me to be on set that Saturday at 8am. After I hung up with him, I thought "this guy, won't tell me anything about the film, wouldn't answer any of my questions and had a very strange voice" so I decided not to go.
So as I walked back to the car I told this lady this story and she looked me in the eye and, I'm not making this up, she said "the director was eight years old. That's why he didn't know anything about contracts or money" I imagine LIT may have been this little guy's 3rd grade project. So when all wa said and done, I yelled at an 8 year old and tried husting him for a speaking role. I wish I was making that up. What an ending to that day.
